Earlier this week, Fidji Simo, CEO of Applications at OpenAI, announced the launch of the OpenAI Jobs Platform and new OpenAI Certifications designed to make AI literacy mainstream. OpenAI’s vision is ambitious: certify 10 million Americans by 2030, give companies confidence in hiring AI-fluent workers, and create a platform that matches talent with opportunity — not just at large enterprises like Walmart and John Deere, but also for local businesses and governments.
