This Survey Manager opportunity is based in Miami, FL, and offers the chance to lead and build a growing surveying operation in one of the most active construction markets in the country. This is an exciting opportunity for a Florida-licensed surveying professional who wants a highly visible leadership role with a well-established firm expanding into the booming Edgewater and greater Miami market, working on major commercial, hospitality, high-rise, and infrastructure projects.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Survey Manager position include:
- Must be a licensed Professional Surveyor and Mapper (PSM) in Florida, with the ability to sign and seal surveys immediately
- Open to candidates licensed in another state who can obtain Florida licensure via endorsement
- Minimum 5+ years of surveying experience with strong client-facing and administrative skills
- Proficiency with Carlson Software, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and robotic total stations
- Lead and manage surveying operations for the Miami office, including project oversight and administration
- Handle client interaction, business development, and coordination with municipalities and regulatory agencies
- Oversee commercial, hospitality, and heavy construction-related survey projects including foundations, roads, bridges, and airports
- Support the growth of the Miami team and manage an 80% office / 20% field work structure
Salary: $120,000 - $160,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
