A family-owned, woman-owned regional business in Claremore, OK is seeking a Working Foreman to lead a field crew while staying hands-on in daily sodding, erosion control, and site work operations. This is a great opportunity for a dependable field leader to join a long-standing company with deep experience, strong customer relationships, and steady work supporting ODOT, Turnpike Authority, municipal, BIA, and related construction projects.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Working Foreman position include:
- At least 3 years of industry experience in sodding, erosion control, DOT, Turnpike, or related construction/site work
- Previous equipment operation experience, including track machines, rubber-tired front-end loaders, skid steers, tractors, and similar equipment
- Lead and direct a crew of 3–4 employees while working alongside the team in the field
- Manage daily production goals, monitor job progress, track employee hours, and assign job site priorities
- Ensure crews have proper tools, equipment, and PPE while enforcing company policies and safety standards
- Perform sodding, mulching, silt fence installation, brush hogging, and erosion control work
- Drive a company truck and trailer to transport equipment to and from job sites
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and ability to pass background check, E-Verify, and drug screening
Salary: $25 - $30 per hour, commensurate with experience.
