Description
A well-established underground construction company with over 70 years of experience is seeking an Underground Utility Superintendent in Shreveport, LA 71106! This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing, results-driven contractor with major water, sewer, storm drain, and data center-related utility work across Louisiana, Mississippi, Texas, Arkansas, and surrounding markets.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Underground Utility Superintendent position include:
- Experience leading underground utility crews on water, sewer, storm drain, and pipe installation projects.
- Ability to work as an active, hands-on superintendent operating equipment and supporting the crew in the field.
- Experience with deep pipe, large pipe, and smaller maintenance utility work, commonly in the 12–16 inch range.
- Ability to supervise typical 5-person crews and help ramp up crew production as project demands increase.
- Must be open to travel for long-term projects lasting 6 months to 1 year, with per diem and housing provided.
- Basic OSHA certifications, rigging certifications, and equipment certifications are preferred.
- Experience with digital daily reporting software is a plus; training can be provided.
- Strong results-driven mindset with the ability to meet demanding project schedules.
Salary: $35 - $55 per hour, commensurate with experience.
