Step into a leadership role as an Underground Utility Foreman in the Williamsburg, Virginia area, where you will help drive critical site development projects involving water, wastewater, sewer, and storm utility installations. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Underground Utility Foreman position include:
- 5–7+ years of experience as a Foreman in underground utility or pipe installation work
- 3–5+ years of heavy equipment operating experience
- Experience with wet utilities including water, wastewater, sewer, and storm systems
- Ability to read plans and apply strong leadership in managing a 2–8 person crew
- Knowledge of OSHA requirements, excavation safety, and confined space procedures
- Supervise daily utility installation activities including excavation, pipe installation, backfill, and crew coordination
- Monitor equipment usage, jobsite safety, production, time reporting, and daily work reports
- Maintain professional communication with project stakeholders and help keep work on schedule and within budget
Salary: $80,000 - $95,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
