A leading manufacturer of custom, precision-ground metals is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Team Lead in Red Lion, PA! This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing company with a clean, smoke-free, heated, and air-conditioned facility supporting packaging, food processing, paper converting, printing, bag manufacturing, recycling, and more.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Shipping & Receiving Team Lead position include:
- High school diploma or equivalent with 3+ years of related experience and/or training, preferably in a manufacturing or quality control environment.
- Package, label, weigh, and process customer orders for accurate and timely domestic and international shipment.
- Receive and inspect incoming deliveries for accuracy, discrepancies, and damage while entering required information into NetSuite.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, stock purchased parts, and control shipping and receiving supplies.
- Use FedEx, UPS, freight systems, weigh scales, and material handling equipment, including loading tractor trailers with a fork truck.
- Oversee and train shipping/receiving staff while maintaining strong organization, communication, and attention to detail.
- Follow all Safety, Health, and Environmental policies while utilizing proper PPE and maintaining a safe work environment.
- Work independently under pressure while managing shifting priorities and supporting customer service, production, accounting, inventory control, inspection, and purchasing teams.
Salary: $22 - $25 per hour, commensurate with experience.
