A long-standing property management company in New York, NY is seeking an experienced Live-In Building Superintendent for a high-end residential property. This is an exciting opportunity to join one a great stable company with 40+ years of history, exceptional employee tenure, and well-maintained residential buildings.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Live-In Building Superintendent position include:
- 10+ years of building maintenance or superintendent experience, with at least 5 years at one residential building preferred.
- Strong tenure and experience working in high-end residential buildings.
- Ability to supervise maintenance technicians, doormen, concierges, handymen, vendors, and building service staff.
- Must have required permits or certifications to oversee boiler-related responsibilities.
- Respond to building emergencies, including after-hours issues such as broken pipes, leaks, and building system concerns.
- Coordinate outside contractors and vendors for repairs, inspections, Local Law 11 work, and other building projects.
- Maintain building operations Monday through Friday during an 8-hour workday, with availability for emergencies.
- Communicate professionally with residents, management, vendors, and building staff.
Salary: Starting at $125,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
