Description
Bring your structural engineering expertise to a company at the center of cooling tower design, manufacturing, and construction, with real-world impact on new projects and retrofits. In this Structural Engineer opportunity in Aledo, TX, you’ll support safe, reliable, and cost-effective structural systems across industrial cooling tower applications.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Structural Engineer position include:
- 3+ years of structural or civil engineering experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field required; PE license preferred or ability to obtain.
- Design and analyze structural components for cooling towers and related industrial systems.
- Prepare structural calculations, engineering drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
- Review and approve fabrication drawings and shop submittals.
- Evaluate existing cooling tower structures for repairs, upgrades, or replacements.
- Perform load calculations including wind, seismic, dead, live, and operational loads.
- Coordinate with mechanical engineers, project managers, estimators, fabrication teams, and field personnel; provide engineering support during fabrication and installation.
Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
