In this Structural Engineer opportunity in Henderson, KY, you’ll help design and evaluate structural systems for new towers and field-installed industrial equipment within a company that manufactures cooling tower components and performs construction work.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Structural Engineer position include:
- 3+ years of structural engineering experience preferred.
- Design and analyze structural components for cooling towers and related industrial systems.
- Prepare structural calculations, engineering drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
- Review and approve fabrication drawings and shop submittals.
- Evaluate existing cooling tower structures for repairs, upgrades, or replacements.
- Perform load calculations including wind, seismic, dead, live, and operational loads.
- Coordinate with mechanical engineers, project managers, estimators, fabrication teams, and field personnel.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA standards, building codes, and industry regulations.
Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
