Are you an experienced Maintenance Technician looking for an exciting opportunity in Nashville, IL? Join a leading automotive manufacturing operation backed by a global automotive supplier, where you’ll support high-volume production of exterior automotive systems in a hands-on manufacturing environment focused on safety, quality, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Maintenance Technician position include:
- Minimum A.S. technical degree required
- Minimum of 2 years of maintenance troubleshooting experience in a manufacturing facility required
- One year of continuous work experience required
- Forklift and manlift operator’s licenses required
- Preferred training in electronics, electrical power and controls, fluid power transfer, MIG welding, HVAC, crane operation, and rigging
- Troubleshoot, install, and repair electrical, electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, and HVAC equipment
- Perform general electrical construction, welding, pipe fitting, equipment installation, fabrication work, and preventative maintenance
- Complete work orders and documentation, report equipment abnormalities, maintain a safe work area, and submit cost reduction and innovation ideas
Salary: $35 - $38 per hour, commensurate with experience.
Benefits: This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including health, vision, and dental insurance, parental leave, and 401(k) eligibility after 60 days.
