An exciting opportunity is available for a Machinist – Wheel Profiling Machines in Livonia, MI with a growing North American gear grinding solutions provider known for exceptional employee retention, work-life balance, and a highly supportive team culture. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Machinist – Wheel Profiling Machines position include:
- High School Diploma or GED required, with previous experience in shipping, logistics, machining, or related fields preferred
- Experience with AMNI/Donaldson, Hyundai profiling machines, CNC lathes, turning centers, or similar lathe machinery is a plus
- Learn to profile wheels on AMNI and Hyundai profiling machines according to customer specifications
- Pack, ship, lift, and move wheel blanks and products weighing up to 35 lbs. consistently throughout an 8-hour shift
- Assemble, address, stamp, ship, unpack, verify, and record incoming and outgoing merchandise or materials
- Arrange transportation of products, assist customers with shipping inquiries, and support administrative duties as assigned
- Maintain a clean warehouse, assist with annual inventory, provide warehouse/general maintenance support, and learn spare parts and tooling parts
- Strong multitasking, organizational skills, physical stamina, valid driver’s license, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment required
Salary: $28.00 per hour.
