Join an established underground utilities contractor in Nashville, TN as a CDL Excavator! This is an exciting opportunity to support major fiber network construction throughout the Nashville market with a stable company that has been in business for 30 years, offers years of backlog, works with top-tier clients, and provides room for growth as it expands into new markets.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this CDL Excavator position include:
- Minimum 3 years of experience operating excavation equipment, mini excavators, or related underground utility equipment.
- CDL is required for candidates hauling equipment, materials, or supporting company transportation needs.
- Operate excavation equipment safely while supporting new fiber network construction projects.
- Understand how to avoid damaging existing underground utilities while working around active job sites.
- Communicate professionally with homeowners and others who may ask questions about work being performed.
- Travel between job sites throughout the Nashville market, with work typically within a small site radius once assigned for the day.
- Support daily field work beginning around 7:00 AM, with typical hours from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Work 40-50 hours per week, with overtime available for excavators.
Salary: $30 to $40 per hour, commensurate with experience.
