Join a growing commercial subcontractor as a Project Manager / Estimator – Commercial Landscaping in Indio, CA, where you’ll lead landscaping projects from bid through closeout across Southern California. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a commercial landscaping division with a company specializing in concrete, masonry, and landscaping services while partnering with general contractors and developers on high-quality, cost-effective projects.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Project Manager / Estimator – Commercial Landscaping position include:
- 3–7+ years of experience in commercial landscaping estimating and/or project management
- Strong knowledge of irrigation systems, planting, grading, hardscape, site improvements, and landscaping scopes
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and bid documents
- Prepare accurate estimates, quantity takeoffs, vendor pricing, value engineering options, and complete bid proposals
- Manage landscaping projects from award through closeout while tracking budgets, costs, forecasts, and profitability
- Coordinate with field crews, superintendents, subcontractors, suppliers, general contractors, and clients
- Manage project schedules, RFIs, submittals, change orders, procurement, deliveries, billing, and closeout documentation
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure safety, quality, and specification compliance
