Description
Bring your production leadership and electronics know-how to a full-time, fully onsite role in Chanute, KS supporting mission-critical equipment for law enforcement customers. In this Production Manager opportunity, you’ll lead an assembly-focused operation with strong electronic technician support while driving quality, capacity planning, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Production Manager position include:
- 5-7 years of experience in a production environment.
- Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
- Strong PC skills with the Windows environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to present information clearly.
- Study production schedules, estimate employee hour requirements, and ensure sufficient capacity across production departments.
- Interface with Quality Assurance to resolve product issues and perform random inspections to verify conformance to specifications.
- Interpret design specifications, blueprints, and job orders to determine production process ability and adjust schedules based on demand, part shortages, equipment incapacity, or documentation gaps.
- Oversee cleanliness, organization, and strict adherence to safety rules and regulations.
Salary: $80,000 - $80,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
