Join a growing civil engineering firm as a Licensed Land Surveyor in Raleigh, NC, where you will take the lead on building and shaping the company’s surveying function from the ground up. This is an exciting opportunity for a North Carolina licensed professional who wants to step into a high-impact role, oversee survey operations, help hire a future field crew, and grow with a company that also has its own land acquisition and land development divisions.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Licensed Land Surveyor position include:
- Active North Carolina Land Surveyor license required
- Ability to work independently as the company’s lead surveying professional
- Experience with residential, commercial, and industrial projects
- Strong field surveying background with willingness to spend approximately 80% of time in the field and 20% in the office
- Manage surveying activities for a variety of local projects in the Raleigh area
- Lead the development of the survey department and assist with hiring future field crew staff
- Coordinate survey efforts with engineering and development teams to support project success
- Utilize a company vehicle for local project-related travel
Salary: $110,000 - $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
