Join a respected and experienced general contractor as a Multifamily Construction Manager in Sebring, Florida, where you will take the lead on a major multifamily development project in Highlands County. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on construction professional who enjoys being the boots-on-the-ground leader on site, overseeing subcontractors, supporting preconstruction efforts, and helping drive a 500+ unit apartment development backed by a company with a strong track record spanning more than 30 years.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Multifamily Construction Manager position include:
- Experience managing multifamily construction projects, ideally large-scale apartment developments.
- Strong background in preconstruction, estimating, and day-to-day site oversight.
- Ability to represent the general contractor as the primary on-site leader overseeing all subcontractors.
- Knowledge of site safety requirements, OSHA standards, and overall jobsite compliance.
- Provide boots-on-the-ground leadership for an active multifamily development site spanning approximately 30 acres of a 130-acre property.
- Oversee construction activities for the initial phase of 80 apartment units, with long-term development plans exceeding 500 units over five years.
- Support field operations, site coordination, subcontractor management, and construction progress reporting with back-office support in place.
- Must be able to pass a background check and work full-time in a permanent W2 position.
Salary: $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
