Description
A leading employee-owned manufacturer is seeking a Journeyman Electrician in Klamath Falls, OR to support electrical systems within a large-scale industrial manufacturing environment. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Journeyman Electrician position include:
- Valid State of Oregon Manufacturing Plant or General Journeyman license required; reciprocating licenses from AR, ID, ME, MT, UT, or WY may be considered.
- 2+ years of industrial manufacturing or military experience preferred, with knowledge of OSHA and state regulations.
- Design, construct, repair, and maintain electrical systems to ensure machinery operates at peak performance.
- Work on large industrial equipment, including new lathe and mainline projects, deconstruction of old equipment, and heavy machinery.
- Experience with controls, PLCs, and VFDs is helpful.
- Must be able to read and understand blueprints.
- Must own tools and be available to work all shifts, holidays, and weekends as needed.
- Green card holders are acceptable, but sponsorship is not available.
Salary: $36 - $43.58 per hour, commensurate with experience.
