Description
A growing semi-custom home builder is seeking a Residential Superintendent in Asheboro, NC, covering a 40-mile radius including Asheboro, Lexington, Salisbury, Tyler City, North Greensboro, and Bisco. This is an exciting hands-on opportunity for an experienced residential construction leader to manage multiple scatter lot home builds, drive projects to completion in as little as 120 days, and join a tight-knit team focused on quality, execution, and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Residential Superintendent position include:
- Manage the construction of 5-10 homes simultaneously, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications.
- Build 20-30 homes per year in a scatter lot environment, with average projects ranging from $300K-$400K excluding land costs.
- Oversee site development including clearing, driveway construction, well and septic installation, and overall lot readiness.
- Collaborate with preconstruction teams, sales teams, contractors, customers, and field partners to keep projects moving efficiently.
- Ensure safety, quality standards, and construction timelines are met across multiple active jobsites.
- Provide hands-on leadership and potentially mentor one assistant builder as the team grows.
- Travel locally within a 40-50-mile radius of the Asheboro region, with occasional office visits for takeoff meetings.
- Bring 5-10 years of residential construction experience, preferably in tract, production, semi-custom, or scatter lot homebuilding; BuildPro or similar software experience is preferred.
Salary: $100,000 - $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
