Qualifications and responsibilities for this HVAC Installation Technician position include:
- 2–3+ years of residential HVAC installation experience.
- EPA Section 608 Certification required (Universal preferred).
- Ability to braze refrigerant lines, pressure test, evacuate, and properly charge systems.
- Install residential and light commercial heating and cooling systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, air handlers, ductless mini-splits, boilers, and packaged units.
- Remove and replace existing HVAC equipment while maintaining a clean, organized job site.
- Install ductwork, refrigerant lines, gas piping, venting, condensate drains, electrical connections, thermostats, and related accessories.
- Perform system startups, charging, airflow adjustments, and operational testing to ensure proper function per manufacturer specifications.
- Follow OSHA guidelines and company safety procedures while completing installation documentation and educating homeowners on system operation and basic maintenance.
Salary: $25.00–$35.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
