Description
A respected commercial HVAC contractor serving the Northern Kentucky, Cincinnati, Lexington, and surrounding regional markets is seeking a hands-on HVAC/R Foreman / Commercial Installer to lead commercial new construction installation projects. This is a great opportunity for a skilled HVAC professional who wants strong overtime potential, company vehicle support, covered travel accommodations, licensing assistance, and the chance to run crews and jobsites on regional commercial projects.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this HVAC/R Foreman / Commercial Installer position include:
- Mid to senior-level commercial HVAC installation experience, with foreman experience running crews and jobsites preferred.
- KY Journeyman’s license preferred
- Install commercial new construction HVAC systems, including RTUs, refrigeration systems, walk-in coolers/freezers, and related equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, installation manuals, and technical specifications to complete projects accurately.
- Lead field crews, coordinate with project managers and technicians, and ensure jobs are completed efficiently.
- Test and verify proper system operation after installation.
- Ensure all installations meet safety codes, industry regulations, and customer specifications.
- Overnight travel Monday through Friday within approximately a 4-hour radius from Burlington, KY and surrounding markets.
- Must live within approximately 1 hour of the shop for dispatch flexibility; license and trade school verification plus 2-3 professional references required.
Salary: $32 - $37 per hour, commensurate with experience, with overtime paid at time-and-a-half after 40 hours.
