Description
Join an innovative manufacturer in Boston, MA as an Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician, where you’ll help build advanced power electronics used in battery-based mobile and renewable energy applications. This is an exciting opportunity to support products that improve energy efficiency, extend battery life, and deliver mission-critical power for applications such as long-haul trucking, military ambulances, remote solar systems, and wireless medical carts.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician position include:
- Associate degree in electronics, engineering, or another applicable field of study
- Ability to read basic prints and drawings
- Strong mechanical aptitude, organizational skills, and attention to detail
- Knowledge of electronic cabling and hand soldering techniques is a plus
- Fabricate and prep parts for mechanical and electronic assemblies
- Perform manual assembly, verification, adjustment, debug, setup, and alignment of components, subassemblies, and final assemblies
- Run production tests, perform product inspections, and create final inspection reports
- Follow manufacturing procedures, good manufacturing practices, inventory processes, and safety standards
Salary: Starting at $20.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
