In this Business Development Manager - Commercial Construction opportunity, you’ll help drive growth on substantial commercial projects while collaborating closely with leadership and operations in a hybrid setup based in Tampa, FL.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Business Development Manager - Commercial Construction position include:
- Commercial construction sales experience, ideally selling $1M+ projects.
- Develop new commercial business and strengthen existing customer relationships.
- Build and maintain relationships with general contractors, developers, owners, and other commercial clients.
- Sell commercial projects, including larger opportunities valued at $1M+.
- Travel locally to meet customers, visit job sites, and support larger bidding opportunities (mostly Tampa Bay; day trips within about a 4-hour radius).
- Participate in site walks and project tours during bidding when needed.
- Work closely with internal leadership, project managers, estimators, and accounting support.
- Represent the company professionally in customer meetings, phone calls, and business development conversations.
Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 plus commission.
