Assistant General Construction Superintendent is an exciting opportunity for an experienced field leader to help drive day-to-day jobsite success, support crews and subcontractors, and ensure projects move forward safely and efficiently.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Construction Superintendent position include:
- 5+ years of field/site supervisory experience; general foreman background preferred
- Must understand jobsite operations, lead crews, take attendance, and act as the on-site eyes and ears
- OSHA 40 is required; OSHA 62 is preferred or the candidate must be willing to complete it within a reasonable timeframe.
- Daily field supervision and project support, including daily reporting of manpower, work activities, and site conditions
- Daily Procore experience is required, and local site-to-site travel is likely (no company vehicle; compensation provided).
- Coordinate subcontractors and in-house manpower
- Maintain project documentation and assist with document control
- Support scheduling, deliveries, inspections, and daily coordination
- Communicate with project managers, foremen, agency representatives, and subcontractors
- Help ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with contract requirements
Salary: $60K-$70K per year, commensurate with experience.
