Build your future with a rapidly growing demolition division tackling technically challenging work across North Branch/Somerset County, NJ and Philadelphia, with flexibility for remote/out-of-area candidates. In this Demolition Estimator opportunity, you’ll help shape competitive bids for high-impact private commercial and industrial projects while partnering closely with operations and a supportive estimating team.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Demolition Estimator position include:
- 3-5+ years of large-scale commercial demolition estimating, managing estimates from start to finish.
- Review plans and environmental reports, perform detailed takeoffs, and develop pricing strategies for demolition scope.
- Evaluate project risks including environmental hazards, utilities, structural stability, and site access constraints.
- Price disposal, recycling, remediation, and material recovery opportunities where applicable.
- Assist with demolition sequencing and methodology with operations and field supervision.
- Coordinate with purchasing and equipment regarding equipment availability and production rates.
- Preferred experience with environmental/asbestos estimating; field or union background is a plus.
- HCSS HeavyBid preferred (training available) with spreadsheet estimating experience acceptable; Procore used by operations.
Salary: Market-driven and open based on experience; discretionary bonus tied to company financial performance.
