Step into a high-trust, family-style commercial construction environment in Roebuck, SC where your estimating work directly shapes project outcomes. Commercial Estimator is a full-time, on-site role supporting industrial-focused design-build projects with strong ownership, fast-moving decision-makers, and real growth potential beyond traditional estimating.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Commercial Estimator position include:
- 1-2+ years of commercial/industrial estimating with required design-build exposure
- Industrial estimating experience preferred, ideally with project experience ranging from $500K-$15M
- Ability to create conceptual budgets with minimal plans and specs for design-build delivery
- Experience analyzing specifications, blueprints, and documentation to develop accurate bids
- Strong relationship-building skills with subcontractors, suppliers, vendors, and clients
- Comfort negotiating pricing and reviewing subcontractor bids to recommend cost-effective solutions
- Experience supporting pre-construction planning, timelines, and budgets once a job is awarded
- Proficiency with Sage Estimating (Procore launch upcoming) and Bluebeam; adjacent estimating software experience welcomed
Salary: Starting around $90K - $115K+ per year, commensurate with experience.
