Description

This CNC Swiss Setup / Programmer opportunity puts your close-tolerance CNC expertise to work on critical aerospace/defense, civil aviation, medical, telecommunications, and other demanding electronic systems in an in-person Monday–Friday environment.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this CNC Swiss Setup / Programmer position include:
- Minimum 10 years of experience setting up and programming CNC machines for close-tolerance precision products; must be a qualified setup person.
- Hands-on experience setting up and programming Star CNC Swiss-type machines.
- Proficient in CNC programming/G-code and able to program and set up machines independently.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints, setup sheets, and work instructions.
- Knowledge of cutting tools and cutting parameters (speeds/feeds), including setup documentation.
- Experience with ISO quality practices, quality control plans, and operating within specifications.
- Ability to check machined parts and make work offset adjustments based on part inspection.
- Coordinates machine setups and manufacturing cell(s) to meet project timelines; documents setups and trains other personnel.
Salary: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour.
