Bring your hands-on mechanical skills to a demanding, fast-moving industrial environment in Okmulgee, Oklahoma, where maintaining dependable heavy equipment directly supports day-to-day operations. This Heavy Equipment Mechanic opportunity focuses on keeping older, durable cranes, swing-cab equipment, and forklifts running safely through proactive preventative maintenance and repairs.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Heavy Equipment Mechanic position include:
- 2-3+ years of heavy equipment mechanic experience
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair cranes, forklifts, and other heavy equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance to keep equipment operating safely and reliably
- Service outdoor cranes, including swing-cab and Link-Belt equipment
- Grease and lubricate equipment according to maintenance requirements
- Change filters and perform routine fluid services; check fluid levels and identify concerns
- Inspect equipment for wear, damage, and mechanical issues; troubleshoot and complete necessary repairs
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment and help minimize downtime through proactive maintenance
Salary: $25 - $35 per hour, commensurate with experience.
Benefits: Healthcare, vision, dental, 120 hours PTO, 40 hours sick time, and 8-9 paid holidays.
