Description
Bring your CNC expertise to a specialized metal tube fabrication environment where automation, precision, and hands-on ownership are part of daily work. This CNC Machinist/Programmer – Mills & Lathes role is based in Hillsborough, NJ, supporting a mix of custom and repeat parts on advanced Haas equipment.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this CNC Machinist/Programmer – Mills & Lathes position include:
- 5+ years operating and setting up CNC mills and lathes; 1+ year programming with any CAM software (CNC-programming engineers may also be considered)
- CAM programming required; Mastercam preferred
- Knowledge of Haas/Fanuc controls and G-code/M-code
- Interpret blueprints and GD&T; perform manual machining as needed
- Troubleshoot programs and machining issues; support precision measurement and quality
- Work with one-off, custom, and repeat parts using materials including aluminum and brass
- Operate and set up Haas 3- and 4-axis CNC equipment; experience with 4th/5th-axis, 3D CAD modeling, and CMM inspection is a bonus
- Maintain machines and follow detailed instructions in English; lift up to 60 lbs. and stand for 6+ hours
Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
Benefits: Health insurance eligibility after 90 days; 401(k) and one week of vacation after one year.
