DAVRON is a nationally recognized engineering, architecture, construction, and manufacturing staffing firm that is rapidly expanding its internal software engineering and AI capabilities. We're looking for a motivated Software Engineer to become the third member of our growing software engineering team.

Our engineering team develops internal platforms that power recruiting, automation, AI agents, data integration, CRM workflows, communications, and operational intelligence. You'll work on systems that solve complex real-world business problems and support the day-to-day operations of the company.

You'll build AI applications, automation platforms, data integration systems, and other business-critical software that directly supports our daily operations and drives the continued growth of our company.

We're seeking a mid-level full stack software engineer with experience in modern software development and hands-on experience building AI-powered applications. You'll be working on cutting-edge internal platforms alongside a small, highly collaborative engineering team where you'll have meaningful ownership, contribute to technical decisions, and solve real business problems through technology.

What You’ll Work On

  • Design and build backend services using Python (FastAPI) and modern web technologies.
  • Integrate APIs and connect internal and external data sources.
  • Develop AI-powered applications, workflows, and automation systems using frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, and custom in-house architectures.
  • Design and build production-grade AI agents with custom orchestration, tool use, memory, and business logic that extend well beyond standard provider capabilities.
  • Integrate leading AI models and APIs, including OpenAI, Anthropic, and other state-of-the-art platforms.
  • Design data pipelines, structured data workflows, and warehousing solutions.
  • Develop internal automation tools that improve operational efficiency across the company.
  • Collaborate directly with leadership and fellow engineers to design and deliver impactful software solutions.

Ideal Background & Skills

  • Experience building APIs and backend systems using Python (FastAPI) or similar frameworks.
  • Experience working with modern AI technologies and LLM platforms.
  • Hands-on experience integrating GPT, Claude, or other large language models through their APIs.
  • Working knowledge of SQL, relational databases, database design, and query optimization.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and/or C#.
  • Experience with Git and collaborative software development workflows.
  • Understanding of data structures, software architecture, and data manipulation techniques.
  • Familiarity with AI agents, orchestration frameworks, or workflow automation platforms.
  • Experience with or demonstrated interest in machine learning, data science, or AI application development.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a willingness to learn new technologies quickly.

What We’re Looking For Personally

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to follow direction while also taking initiative when appropriate
  • Naturally curious with a desire to understand both technical and business challenges.
  • Positive energy, culture fit, and team-oriented mentality
  • Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities evolve.
  • Passion for building software that solves real operational problems.

Education & Experience

We are open to candidates with either:

  • 4+ years of professional software development experience, or
  • 3+ years of professional software development experience plus a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.

Exceptional personal projects, internships, open-source contributions, or other demonstrated technical achievements may be considered in place of some professional experience.

Why Join DAVRON?

  • Build meaningful AI products that solve real business challenges.
  • Help shape the future of AI and software within a rapidly growing company.
  • Work directly with leadership on innovative internal platforms.
  • Gain broad exposure across AI, software engineering, automation, and data systems.
  • Enjoy significant ownership, technical autonomy, and opportunities for career growth.
  • Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.

At DAVRON, we value work-life balance. Our regular working hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:45 AM to 5:15 PM, allowing you to maintain a healthy equilibrium. Additionally, we provide free snacks and foster a supportive work environment. With three weeks of paid time off and 85% coverage of employee’s healthcare costs, we prioritize your well-being.
