Description
Bring your hands-on maintenance expertise to a high-impact manufacturing environment across two Houston-area facilities, where uptime, safety, and continuous improvement are part of everyday work. In this Electromechanical Maintenance Technician opportunity, you’ll help keep press equipment and tube production lines running reliably while troubleshooting complex electromechanical systems.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Electromechanical Maintenance Technician position include:
- 5 years of proven experience as an electromechanical maintenance technician (or an equivalent combination of education, training, and related experience).
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on press equipment and tube production lines.
- Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Troubleshoot PLC-controlled systems, sensors, motors, drives, and control circuits (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or similar).
- Respond quickly to production breakdowns and perform root-cause analysis with corrective actions.
- Support installation, setup, commissioning, and upgrades/modifications of existing equipment.
- Maintain maintenance logs, reports, and technical documentation; update electrical schematics and mechanical drawings as needed.
- Follow plant safety standards, including machine guarding and lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures.
Salary: $22–$35/hour.
