In this Assistant Maintenance Manager opportunity, you’ll lead a hands-on maintenance team and keep industrial equipment running safely and reliably in a fast-paced plant environment.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Assistant Maintenance Manager position include:
- Minimum 5 years repairing industrial processing equipment in an industrial environment or in the military, plus a minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience
- Experience with 480 volts (high voltage)
- Knowledge of electrical wiring/components, pneumatic systems, steam systems, water systems, hydraulics, and industrial equipment fundamentals
- Hands-on manufacturing equipment maintenance background (facilities/building maintenance is not a fit)
- Ability to use basic hand tools properly and safely
- Oversees 20 mechanics and 7 porters
- Maintains preventive maintenance programs and supports diagnostic troubleshooting
- Adheres to safety programs and monitors quality of repairs, including building and physical plant repair issues
Salary: $90,000 - $95,000 per year, based on experience, seniority, location, and other permissible job-related factors.
