In this Retail Interior Designer opportunity, you’ll join a growing team in St. Louis, with hybrid flexibility and work that moves quickly from concept through construction documentation.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Retail Interior Designer position include:
- 2-3 years’ experience targeting $50,000-$60,000, or 5-7 years’ experience targeting $65,000-$70,000, with strong construction-document production and rapid turnaround (typically measured in weeks).
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit (with additional tools including Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp, and InDesign).
- Develop design concepts, schematic drawings, and 3D models for retail projects, including renovations and as-builts.
- Produce architectural drawings, plans, and elevations while adhering to established standards and protocols.
- Support senior architects and project managers with requirements gathering, site analysis, and assessing client needs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate technical requirements and ensure design feasibility.
- Stay current on trends, technologies, and best practices, and help prepare presentation materials and project documentation.
Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
