This Drywall Metal Stud Framer / Hanger opportunity puts you in a hands-on field role where dependable, skilled craftsmen are in real demand.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Drywall Metal Stud Framer/Hanger position include:
- Commercial drywall/carpentry experience required
- Hands-on comfort working in a commercial drywall environment
- Metal stud framing, insulation, and drywall hanging experience strongly preferred
- Acoustical ceiling experience is a plus
- Open to carpenters with transferable hands-on experience (e.g., deck building)
- Must have own tool bag and be able to show your tools
- Reliable transportation; may need to report to the office or directly to jobsites
- Must be able to meet government/GSA jobsite access requirements (no felonies for current government project access)
- Perform commercial drywall hanging, metal stud framing, insulation, and related field work
- Work as part of a field crew, typically in pairs, and maintain reliable attendance during standard work hours
Salary: $25-$30 per hour
Benefits: 401(k) with no match, health insurance split 50/50 for employee, dependent coverage at employee cost, dental/vision at employee cost, annual profit sharing based on company profits, and 1 week PTO after 1 year of employment (benefits begin after about 1 month).
