Description
CNC Machinist opportunity available in Burbank, CA for a high-quality precision machine shop supporting advanced glass-to-metal connector manufacturing. This is a night shift role with a stable, low-turnover company that offers cross-training, internal growth, and the chance to work with CNC lathes in a specialized manufacturing environment.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this CNC Machinist position include:
- 3–5 years of CNC machining experience, preferably with CNC lathes
- Experience with dual spindle lathes; Swiss machining experience is a plus
- Set up experience is strongly preferred
- Ability to read programming; programming experience is a plus
- Knowledge of GD&T and inspection tools
- Perform precision machining on glass-to-metal connector components
- Work night shift hours from approximately 4:30 PM to 3:00 AM, five days per week
- Support quality standards in a precision manufacturing environment
Salary: $25 - $33 per hour, commensurate with experience, plus a 10% shift premium.
Benefits: This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including full medical, dental, and vision insurance, three medical plans to choose from with approximately 80% coverage, 11 paid holidays, 401(k) with a 4.5% match when contributing 6%, and vacation starting at one week of 50 hours with increases over time.
