Join a growing civil engineering consulting team as a Civil Engineering Project Manager / PE in North Carolina! This fully in-office leadership role is a great opportunity for an experienced Professional Engineer to take ownership of residential land development projects, work directly with clients, guide CAD teams, and serve as a trusted technical resource in a highly visible position.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Civil Engineering Project Manager / PE position include:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering is required.
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license is required, with North Carolina licensure strongly preferred.
- Approximately 10+ years of civil engineering experience with residential land development is required.
- Civil 3D experience is required.
- Manage and oversee single-family residential, plot development, and land development projects.
- Review engineering documents, provide technical guidance, and sign/seal engineering documents.
- Work directly with clients while acting as an owner’s representative and project liaison.
- Coordinate with internal CAD teams to ensure projects are completed accurately and efficiently.
Salary: $125,000 - $165,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
Benefits: This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including 401(k), health, dental, and vision insurance with the company covering 50%, PTO that is negotiable and typically ranges from 2-3 weeks, and a standard benefits package.
