Description
A leading North American provider of precision gear grinding machinery, tooling, spare parts, and repair services is seeking a Warehouse Lead in Livonia, MI! This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly specialized, detail-driven team supporting advanced manufacturing solutions, from single-machine installations to multi-machine turnkey systems with automation and filtration capabilities.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Warehouse Lead position include:
- High School Diploma or GED required, with previous experience in shipping, logistics, warehousing, or related fields.
- Must be able to lift 35 lbs. consistently throughout an 8-hour shift and handle a physical workload.
- Experience using FedEx Ship Manager and UPS WorldShip required.
- Set up truck shipments, arrange transportation of products, pack and load orders, and assist customers with shipping inquiries.
- Unpack, verify, record, assemble, address, stamp, and ship incoming and outgoing merchandise or materials.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, assist with annual inventory, and support general warehouse maintenance.
- Learn spare parts, tooling parts, and wheel profiling on AMNI and Hyundai profiling machines to support customer needs.
- Forklift certification, valid driver’s license, and AMNI/Donaldson or similar experience are a plus.
Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
