Qualifications and responsibilities for this Survey CAD Technician position include:
- Advanced experience with CAD and AutoCAD software
- Experience converting 2D plans into 3D models for use in Trimble GPS systems
- Knowledge of Trimble Business Center is preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Create surface and solid CAD models based on project plans and client specifications
- Review and revise CAD models to resolve discrepancies with project management and field teams
- Calculate earthwork and surface takeoff quantities from design data
- Synchronize model data to deliver accurate files to machines and rovers in the field
Salary: $60,000 - $75,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
