Description
Superintendent in Anchorage, AK with remote project sites across Alaska—join a highly reputable, Alaska-based federal contractor known for delivering complex Design-Build and Design-Bid-Build work for major government agencies. This role offers hands-on leadership on unique remote federal projects, autonomy to do the job the right way, and the chance to grow with a long-tenured team while working in a true field-based environment.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Superintendent position include:
- Federal project superintendent experience required
- Prior Alaska remote project experience strongly needed
- Comfort working in remote locations, including fly-in project sites
- Hands-on, tool-belt willingness; must be field-based and actively engaged when work is underway
- Manages subcontractors and self-perform crews (company self-performs framing and carpentry)
- Experience with vertical construction and civil projects, including mixed self-perform and subcontracted scopes
- Ability to manage one project at a time with onsite presence during active work
- Heavy Alaska travel; remote site work required
Salary: $150,000 - $190,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
