Description
Manufacturing Technician opportunity in New Albany, IN! Join a precision-focused operations team where you’ll assemble and test advanced test and measurement instrumentation while contributing to quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on manufacturing professional who enjoys mechanical and electrical assembly, clean processes, and a collaborative production environment.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Manufacturing Technician position include:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a mechanical or electrical field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of prior manufacturing work experience.
- Knowledge of standard manufacturing practices in mechanical and electrical assembly.
- Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
- Experience using hand tools, machine tools, soldering tools, and mechanical and electrical measuring tools.
- Assemble and test product assemblies according to established processes, drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Identify and segregate defects while supporting continuous improvement and LEAN initiatives.
- Maintain a clean, safe work area, cross-train on multiple products, and lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
Salary: 24.00 – 30.00 per year, commensurate with experience.
