Description
A well-established engineering and manufacturing organization is seeking a Service Technician (Industrial Refrigeration) in Cleveland, OH, with primarily local travel and occasional overnight work. Founded nearly 30 years ago and now operating as an international manufacturer of industrial chillers and heat transfer systems, this company offers a strong family-oriented culture, high employee retention, and the opportunity to work with advanced refrigeration technology while supporting a well-established customer base.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Service Technician position include:
- Minimum 3+ years of industrial refrigeration experience (5+ years preferred) working with chillers, rack systems, or similar equipment
- Service and maintain industrial refrigeration systems, process chillers, HVAC systems, and heat transfer systems at customer sites
- Perform system startups for refrigeration and heat transfer equipment throughout the country
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills in complex systems
- Experience working with microprocessor-controlled systems and HVAC equipment
- Test process chillers and heat transfer systems in the shop prior to deployment
- Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours and weekend service support with the service team
- Document service work orders electronically using a company-provided laptop for invoicing and reporting
Salary: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
