Description
An exciting opportunity is available for a Commercial Refrigeration Service Technician in the DFW Area, ideally near Aledo, TX, with a growing, family-owned commercial refrigeration company serving restaurants, grocery stores, gas stations, warehouses, and similar facilities. This is a hands-on installation-focused role with a close-knit team, steady project flow, company vehicle, fuel card, and the chance to grow with a business that is picking up heavily across Texas and nearby states.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Commercial Refrigeration Service Technician position include:
- Active Texas Class A Air Conditioning and Refrigeration License required; no exceptions.
- Hands-on commercial refrigeration installation experience required, especially with walk-in coolers and freezers.
- Install commercial refrigeration systems fabricated in-house and connect them on-site for commercial facilities.
- Work with evaporators, condensers, fans, and related refrigeration components.
- Travel to job sites across the DFW area, Texas, and occasionally Oklahoma as needed.
- Occasionally troubleshoot and repair installed systems, including limited warranty/service calls.
- Coordinate with assistants and team members to complete installations safely and efficiently.
- Maintain strong workmanship, professionalism, and reliability in a field-based role.
Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
Benefits: This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including a company vehicle and fuel card, Paid Time Off (PTO), per diem and hotel accommodations for extended travel projects, overtime paid at time and a half when applicable, and no on-call requirements.
