Step into a high-impact opportunity as a Senior Project Manager in Staten Island, NY, leading a major USACE storm resiliency project with a respected heavy civil contractor known for complex public infrastructure work and a strong pipeline of long-term federal projects. This is an exciting chance to take ownership of a landmark project involving drainage ponds, detention basins, culverts, and sewer relocation while working in a visible leadership role with real influence over project success and future growth.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Senior Project Manager position include:
- 10+ years of heavy civil construction experience with earthwork, drainage, utilities, excavation, grading, and public infrastructure projects
- Direct USACE project experience and RMS (Resident Management System) experience required
- PE, PMP, or CCM certification is a plus
- Manage the full project lifecycle including planning, scheduling, execution, cost control, subcontractor management, and closeout
- Oversee RFIs, submittals, change orders, pay applications, reporting, and budget updates
- Ensure compliance with USACE requirements, EM 385 standards, and federal documentation and environmental regulations
- Coordinate with federal representatives, inspectors, internal safety and quality teams, and field operations
- Maintain strong leadership presence on-site while driving project quality, performance, and client satisfaction
Salary: $200,000 - $250,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
