A Field Diesel Mechanic opportunity is available in Gibsonton, FL with a rapidly expanding, family-owned provider of diesel-driven pump rental and turnkey dewatering solutions. This is an exciting chance to join a newer Tampa-area branch, work with a close-knit team, and make a real impact as the company continues growing across Florida.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Field Diesel Mechanic position include:
- Service and maintain diesel-driven pump rental equipment throughout the Tampa/Sarasota area.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and keep pump and diesel equipment running efficiently.
- Deliver and pick up equipment for customers while providing excellent field customer service.
- 1-2 years of dewatering pump repair and diesel engine experience preferred; training may be available for the right person.
- Strong mechanical skills with basic troubleshooting ability.
- Must have your own basic tools, a clean driving record, and a valid Florida driver’s license.
- Welding and fabrication skills are a plus.
- Must be self-motivated, communicate well, and be willing to participate in a weekend on-call rotation.
Salary: $25 - $33 per hour, commensurate with experience.
