A modern, well-equipped precision manufacturing company is seeking a Quality Control Manager/Lead in Hudson, MA, just 40 miles from Boston. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Quality Control Manager/Lead position include:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or lawful permanent resident due to CMMC Level 2 certification requirements.
- Minimum of 5 years of quality control or quality assurance experience in a machine shop or manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of machining processes, GD&T, inspection methods, technical drawings, and tolerances.
- Working knowledge of CMMs, micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and similar inspection equipment.
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality procedures, inspection plans, and standards.
- Perform hands-on inspections of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods.
- Lead the quality team by managing workflow, setting priorities, training others, and providing technical guidance.
- Support FAIs, documentation, audits, quality metrics, corrective actions, and compliance with customer requirements and AS9100 standards.
Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
