This Senior Industrial Automation Engineer opportunity combines hands-on controls troubleshooting with meaningful project ownership and client communication.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Senior Industrial Automation Engineer position include:
- 3+ years of controls/automation and engineering project management experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (related-degree flexibility not confirmed)
- Hands-on experience upgrading, programming, and troubleshooting industrial control systems
- Allen-Bradley PLC hardware experience and RSLogix/Logix software experience required
- Strong engineering project management skills including estimates, proposals, budgets, and schedule coordination
- Ability to identify and specify appropriate components and parts
- Coordinate commissioning and field troubleshooting activities
- Communicate effectively with customers, contractors, and internal teams; travel approximately 10% (typically trips of three days or less)
Salary: $90,000 - $140,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
Benefits: Annual discretionary bonus, four weeks accrued PTO, 3% employer retirement contribution, and health/dental/vision/life coverage.
