Qualifications and responsibilities for this Quality Control Technician position include:
- 5 years of experience in pipe welding quality control for fluid systems required
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Quality, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering is a plus
- Experience in a CWI/QC role within an industrial setting, ASQ certification, Chinese language skills, or TSMC Arizona factory construction experience is a plus
- Proficiency interpreting blueprints, schematics, welding symbols, specifications, and industry standards
- Perform inspections and quality control assessments on mechanical/plastic welding, metal welding, fabrication, products, and materials
- Ensure compliance with AWS, ASME, DVS, OSHA, project quality plans, safety regulations, and applicable codes and standards
- Document inspection results including weld logs, welder tests, pressure tests, material receiving reports, and other mechanical inspection reports
- Support audits, corrective actions, equipment calibration, QA/QC meetings, quality issue resolution, and process improvements
Salary: $60,000 to $90,000
