In this Production Supervisor opportunity, you’ll lead production-floor teams and drive safety, quality, and on-time performance across the fabrication operation.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Production Supervisor position include:
- 7+ years experience in the metal fabrication/machining industry; 3+ years experience supervising manufacturing personnel; and 3+ years experience with an ISO quality systems organization.
- Lead and direct area activities and personnel in alignment with plant goals and objectives.
- Coach and discipline employees while maintaining safety standards and enforcing 6S/5S discipline.
- Verify and sign off on safety and maintenance checklists per work center, and conduct daily safety/quality/schedule reviews.
- Ensure quality first article, in-process, and final inspection check sheets are being utilized and completed.
- Maintain work center organization using shadow boards and dedicated inventory areas for raw, work in process, and finished goods.
- Update unit communication boards with daily metrics and provide next-shift production schedules and turnover meetings.
- Attend daily scheduling meetings with Planning and discuss status of past-due items and daily requirements.
Salary: $65K+ with benefits.
