In this Press Brake Operator opportunity, you’ll bring your press brake expertise to help produce parts to blueprint and sketch specifications with a long-tenured team and strong growth goals.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Press Brake Operator position include:
- 10+ years of press brake-specific experience required, including Cincinnati press brake setup and manual programming
- Manually program and set up a Cincinnati press brake; modify tooling as needed
- Lay out/determine layout on work stock using blueprints or templates; align workpiece to die setup
- Set specified ram pressure and die clearance using calibrated scale or feelers
- Operate the brake to bend, notch, punch, form rolls, arc, or straighten metal to specifications
- Program CNC back gauges for automated brakes
- Verify dimensions and inspect parts to blueprint requirements; pass a flat pattern test administered by the Shop Foreman
- Devises and builds temporary dies and stops for production runs
Salary: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
