In this Sales Manager - Construction Division opportunity, you’ll lead business development and estimating while helping shape sales processes and SOPs that fuel measurable growth. This hybrid role balances in-office onboarding with time in the field meeting clients and supporting project success.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Sales Manager - Construction Division position include:
- 5+ years of construction estimating/sales experience with proven sales management ability
- Read takeoffs and bidsets, and develop accurate, defensible estimates and proposals that protect margins
- Lead the full sales cycle, including qualification, proposal presentation, negotiation, and closing
- Generate and qualify new leads through networking, cold outreach, referrals, and industry relationships
- Track and manage the pipeline, forecast revenue, and report key sales metrics
- Develop and implement sales SOPs, processes, templates, and best practices to scale the sales function
- Train, mentor, and supervise sales staff, establishing performance goals and coaching toward them
- Use and champion technology, including CRM and estimating tools (Projul familiarity is a plus) to improve efficiency
Salary: $65,000-$75,000 base salary + commission/incentives
