Qualifications and responsibilities for this President – Commercial Construction position include:
- 10+ years of construction leadership experience required, with 15+ years preferred; backgrounds as a President, CEO, COO, Vice President, or Director considered.
- Extensive commercial general contracting experience required, with industrial construction experience strongly encouraged.
- Direct daily company operations, establish strategic business plans, and lead senior management teams to achieve organizational objectives.
- Oversee financial performance, including annual budgets, revenue growth, profitability, cash flow, operating expenses, and project margins.
- Provide executive oversight of commercial and industrial construction projects, ensuring quality, safety, scheduling, staffing, and budget compliance.
- Drive business development, strengthen client relationships, negotiate major contracts, and expand the company's project portfolio and backlog.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop leadership personnel while building a culture of accountability, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
- Demonstrate strong executive decision-making, negotiation, communication, and construction software skills, with the ability to implement operational improvements and scale the business.
Salary: $125,000 - $175,000 per year, commensurate with experience, with higher compensation considered for exceptional candidates and additional profitability-based bonus potential of $50,000 - $100,000.
Benefits: This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k), two weeks of paid time off (negotiable), and a profitability-based bonus structure.
